The deceased Paul Njeri said since he was the eldest son then the should be the one receiving dowry on behalf of the family.

his sisters – Susan Wambui, Elizabeth Wairimu, Catherine Wanja, Alibeta Njambi and Mary Muthoni – are said to have pounced on him and seriously beat him up.

He would later succumb to his injuries.

Mbona hawa wamama wakikuyu like naming bastards by their feminine names. Kitu kama John doe Njeri.

Kwetu kama ni lazma you only get a feminine clans name kitu kama john doe Nakhayo
walikunywa fombe ya dowry which belongs to the clan ! wakitumia jina ya clan ,its just a curse to the child .

I thought that in every tribe in Kenya, the parents were supposed to take the bride price and if not then the eldest son. But its Kiambu that was expected.
