Police in Arusha, Tanzania have arrested a 32-year-old man on allegations of killing his 79-year-old mother.

Daniel Emmanuel, a resident of Sakila area in Arumeru District, Arusha, was, on Saturday, May 16, allegedly found by neighbours drinking his mother’s blood after killing her.

We get western names out of self gratification and complete ignorance. We use them as cost nothing and runs no risk of anyone questioning your given name. Most first names we are given as western names are usually last names in the western world and are never used as first names. Some of them are so old that they have become extinct in the western world where we think they came from. Some them are a corruption of a western names that sounded similar to but localized. Some sound western but have never been heard of anywhere in the western world. I have heard Africans named Goodluck, Wishwell, Godsfaith, Blessings, Apollo, Purity, Perpetual, Snowball, Habakkuk, Onesimus, Ananias, MaJonnie etc...
