The Makueni Fruit Processing Plant has commenced pulping of tomatoes and hopes to start processing ready to drink tomato juice in a month's time.
Farmers will deliver their produce to the plant for conversion to ready to market products, thus stabilising prices through value addition.

Badi: Dealing with enemies is part of my training... we deal with them as they come. My job as the NMS boss is not hard. Managing the city is just like management in the military.

Was here sometimes not very long ago. Before you say Kivutha, say Charles, the brain behind the entire idea from conception to where it is. A career agriculturalist with a great vision. Kivutha is also a good man for standing with and supporting the implementation of the project.
