Lonyangapuo aborts meeting after chaos erupts

WEST POKOT COUNTY GOVERNOR Prof. John Lonyangapuo who is also the Kenya Union Party (KUP) leader was this afternoon forced cut short his aspirants' meeting at Chemolingot, Tiaty Constituency after chaos erupted.

Reports indicate that Kanu Party supporters and those of KUP clashed in the Sub-County headquarters amid the meeting forcing police to lob teargas to supporters of the two factions.
