Baby girl rescued from ruins of destroyed house in Syria
Doctors who examined the baby suggested that she was born when her mother was already buried under the rubble, just a few hours before rescuers found her.
The woman was conscious during childbirth, but died soon after. The child was found tied by the umbilical cord to the deceased mother. Doctors are now taking care of the baby.
The newborn girl is the only one in her family who survived the collapse of the building.
