    • Months later, it has been revealed that several government-funded markets and roads were abandoned by contractors, with little to no work completed

In some markets, locals have begun stealing steel and other construction materials, as contractors have failed to secure the sites with fencing.

The markets visited included Soko Kubwa, with a budget of Sh370 million, Chwele market, budgeted at Sh 340 million, Mateka market, costing Sh50 million, and Malakisi market, also costing Sh50 million.ads had been abandoned by contractors, with little to no work being done.

This man goes around the country like a jobless person making irresponsible remarks and false promises which point out to a very harsh reality: the katiba has been abused and now they we have an imperial president who has the treasury via the finance CS and PS.
Ask me, 2018-2019 jamaa alichoma many people in construction sector including yours truely, KMTC would get consultants, design, tender pick a contractor, Ruto launches, then crickets....... I only experienced KMTC, most parastatals did this

Tanga tanga master was launching project after project during UK tenure, (of course conveniently blame his boss for not allowing him complete them) hadi akambiwa awache kusmama juu ya gari arudi Ofisi.
He has never stepped in harambee Hse sjui tangu lini.
AS you rightfully said, this guy has no respect for his bosses. Including the pple who made him president.

Ruto leaned so heavily into populism that he’s now trapped in a classic positive feedback loop—he has to keep making promises and flashy launches just to maintain momentum. The moment he stops, he’d actually have to engage with real policy work, which he seems either unwilling or unprepared to do. It's all political theater at this point, and the longer it goes on, the harder it becomes to break the cycle.
