Laikipia. We're dealing with a terrorist group

The worst bit about all this is that some influential people both in and out of government are behind these attacks. And our famed NSIS should know what is happening.

Was in church.
When I saw the poor Kenyans with gunshot injuries yesterday in local TV station I lost my cool I retract statement.
You realise we live in a different Kenya, where primary school kids know that it's safer to hide in a mud house while under gunfire than a stone building, due to ricochets. The security services are doing all they can to tame the Kenyan version of the wild west. If only I could speak freely of the things being done over here.

In 2017, they killed 6 police officers during an attack.

The govt launched an operation to flush them out. I think police killed a lot of them...and their cows too. Machungu ni ka ilitoka hapo. Kitambo they were a bit torelant. Saizi if you just happen to meet them unaenda kwa baba immediately. Ata polisi would hesitate kuingia in those bushes. Kama wanaattack a GSU camp unprovoked na raiya je? you think these guys are hivi hivi?

Few guys were arrested on Tuesday, and consequently, about 7 traders who had gone for an open air market in Baringo were abducted. Their fate unknown.
Taking the tribal angle now. Unaona jangili znatishia serikali bana

The pic is a download from the net. crime was in Mirango, somewhere in between. Seems unajua izo maeneo, na watu hawaelewi how vast this place is. Ka ni polisi, maybe wamwage more than 3000 of them to guard day and night. Because a police station can not be a solution.
I am yet to hear an army that ever defeated a rag tag group of rebels who apply guerilla tactics......ask Italians what they experienced in the land of Axum and Americans in Vietnam...
There are however ways in which the govt can slowly stop this.....

The trigger of the currents event seems to be an alleged arrest that was mistaken for abduction. The following is the narration from one Kodiaga.

"On Tuesday hapo Soko Ol Moran, a Subaru Outback arrives with officers wielding guns and abduct two Pokots, one being a prominent businessman. Pokot suspect that Kikuyu are behind the abduction, the businessman had built a 2 storey iconic building at Ol Moran. Pokot abduct 2 Kikuyus as retaliation. Turkana and samburu take advantage of the situation and loot. The axis of the whole problem was abduction without arraignment in court. Those two abducted are still at large."

In the audio clip below, we can clearly discern negotiations between a relative (who seems to work with the security) of the abducted Kikuyu and the pokot abductors. The pokot abductors want to know whether their arrested relatives have been killed or not. The kikuyu speaker is informing them that the arrested persons are in police cells. However, the pokot speaker insists that their arrested relatives should be put on phone to prove that they are alive.
