When I got circumcised, according to our tradition one has to undergo a 7 day rest for healing. During those 7 days, you don’t get enough sleep coz, most people will come to visit you and some for sleepovers. When my 7 days were over I remember twas on a sato,I went to visit my cousin who I had gone a day earlier before him. So he was to complete his last days on that Sunday.

That whole night we slept playing cards and draft, nikatoka kwao 5 and went straight to bed. Hiyo Sunday yote I slept and when I woke up ilikua usiku, so I thought its still Sunday morning. Hizo siku hakukua na simu wale watch. So I continued sleeping till Monday morning,nakuta mathee amerelax kitchen, nikamuuliza kwani haendi church. She told me it’s a Monday morning, jana ndio ilikua Sunday. Thats how i skipped a Sunday.

And you have never recovered it. Sema ukweli!
