What is the rationale here? A working man will report to work and spend his day within the workplace. The same man without work will be all over the county looking for ways to earn some income. If he falls sick while working, the most likely contacts will be workmates, friends, family, and neighbors. If he falls sick outside the work premises, his likely contacts will be spread over a wide area and difficult to identify. Which of these two scenarios presents more risk?

Get serious, aren't people supposed to stay at home? This is why the slogan is being sung, STAY AT HOME, STAY AT HOME.
No wonder the govt has to use rungus in this country sometimes.

True, and that why world bank gave Kenya that billions grant.
This isn't the first plaque to hit the world, and people we still asked to stay at home on all the other occasions.

If I sleep hungry today, no amount of danger will prevent me from going out to look for food tomorrow. Any measures that interrupt the peoples' capacity to earn or access food will worsen the disease situation as people will be all over the country trying to live another day. Nobody in this world will provide such people with sustenance. What the world bank provided is for budget support and not to cater for subsidies to citizens.

Correct, just a small Point of correction, world bank has already done its part, its the govt of KE, that needs to implement and ensure its citizens are taken care of.

True that is not the first plague to hit the world. How many of those got to Kenya like coronavaira has done?
And those that got here,what was the Kenyan government reclaction then?

Ngojeni tu, italy is a case example, but as usual we wait for it to hit us, so as to know it's serious.
I agree our country has a sad poverty situation but the plaque is an unusual thing, it will require great sacrifice.
