KICOTEC – Kitui County Textile Center

Hako kamama kamwisi for once has got something very right.
Hope her Kirinyaga counterpart could come up with such ventures instead of strutting out her feminity.

Maybe it's time hapa kwa hii forum we start a category ya : Buy Local where we can share contacts of such people. That way anyone looking for locally made goods can check there first .It's free marketing for them but if we have to change the current scenario it has to start with me .
@AU5 ,@Meria ,@DESTRO what do you think of this proposal .

In whatever condition, a coronavirus won't survive outside a host for long. It won't even survive in plain water. Bacteria and fungi may. If it takes more than a week to get from China to Kenya, it's safe.

A time like this where world governments are busy fighting this pandemic, our own leaders should create master plans to change how things have been working since colonial era.
We should restructure tea, sisal, maize, miraa etc plantations and work on better viable crops. We should have serious updated urban master-plan, farm land bylaws etc.
Economy will hurt for the next 2 years but we need to hurt with right choices in place.

Hapa kwa miraa umefeli ndugu.

I stand to be corrected but miraa with time will be uneconomical. Wait till Somalia opens for business but still barns miraa sales. This pandemic will see change in culture and habits. We must see the future as it unfolds, maybe introduce orange, olives, grapes farming etc
