Kenya Power has announced an all-day power blackout in thirteen counties, with Nairobi most affected.
The agency made the announcement through their social media pages on Monday, June 15.
Kenya Power scheduled the planned power interruptions to commence between 8:30 - 9: 30 a.m up to 5 p.m on Tuesday, June 16.

The counties that will experience the blackout are Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Makueni, Nakuru, West Pokot, Kakamega, Kisii, Mombasa, Kiambu, Nyeri, Nyamira and Homa Bay.
In Nairobi, estates along James Gichuru Road will be affected as from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. From Olenguruone Road, Kanjata Crescent, Kawangware Gatina to parts of Waiyaki Way.
Nairobi Water, Communication Authority of Kenya (CAK) and businesses along Musa Gitau Road will also experience the outage.
In Nakuru, Manera Farm, Tulaga Flowers to Delamere Shops and adjacent customers will be affected in a similar time such as Nairobi.
Mombasa Residents in parts of Changwame, from Municipal Houses to National Housing and Kenya Revenue Houses will experience outage from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Amalemba, Shirere, Mukumu, Khayega and Sigalagala areas in Kakamega County will be affected from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In Kiambu, Gitaru, Kinoo, Uthiru, Gatanga and Ndenderu will experience outage from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
