Despite the constant bad news, we all belong to a country of immense potential and great significance at the international level.

Still, we can do much much better so the news that Kenya is Africa's 3rd powerhouse when various metrics are combined should inspire each and every one of us to do our bit, ignore the sh*thouse that is our political arena and strive for the best.

Not all news is bad news.

Check the metrics that they used and you will be disappointed with this research

The Power subranking is based on an equally weighted average of scores from five country attributes that related to a country's power: a leader, economically influential, politically influential, strong international alliances and strong military.

They picked 73 countries and not all the countries in the world. So Kenya is number 52 out of the 73 countries that were picked.

I don't think the survey should excite us.
 
Africa needs to be able to rank itself .

Anybody other then Africans themselves has INTEREST in cooking the numbers.
