*PUBLIC NOTICE-ON FERRY OPERATION SCHEDULES-STARTING SUNDAY 29th MARCH 2020:*

In order to comply with the presidential Directive on prevention of Corona -Virus in Kenya and the daily curfew imposed by the Government from 7.00 Pm -5.00 A.m , Kenya Ferry Services Ltd has revised Ferry operation schedules as indicated below.

5.00 A.M- 11.00 A.M- FERRIES AVAILABLE TO CROSS PEDESTRIANS ONLY.

11.00 A.M- 2.00 PM-- FERRIES AVAILABLE TO CROSS VEHICLES&MOTOR-CYCLES.

2.00 P.M -- 6.30 P.M - FERRIES AVAILABLE TO CROSS PEDESTRIANS ONLY.

We wish to to assure all our customers that we will continue serving you on the same note urging you to take personal precaution to fight the spread of Covid -19.

My honest opinion - hii ni upus
With 4 ferries in use why not dedicate 3 for pedestrians and one for M/Vs

Are you talking about the same ferries whose engine cuts out & the passengers start drifting towards the open sea?

All but one are Floating rust buckets that should have been scrapped quarter century ago.
No insurance company will touch them even with a km long pole
