7.6b equals the money the govt has put in the airline, if we call it quits that 7b can be utilized in a better way hopefully.
In my mathematics, let's continue bailing the airline out, atleast indirectly the govt is feeding many families and keeping many related businesses alive. Rather than this money being stolen and stashed away.

A cost benefit analysis of this accrued benefits should be done, the country shouldn't keep a brain-dead entity on life machine.

It will always be bailed out as long as those with a vested interest continue treating our national carrier like a matatu sacco..
