Prior to the 2022 elections, there was a selection panel to bring in 4 new comissioners. At this time, Uhuru, Raila, Matiangi, Karua and Kalonzo were part of government and they were all too happy with their unilateral decision.
The four new commissioners were:
1. Juliana Cherera (who later became Vice Chairperson)
2. Francis Wanderi
3. Irene Masit
4. Justus Nyang’aya
They later came to be known as the Cherera 4.
I remember when they were being selected, Ruto told them they can even make Oburu Odinga the chairman and he will be okay with it.
Kalonzo needs to grow up and go look for votes kwa ground.
