The Kenya Copyright Board clarifies that Deejays streaming live online performances containing recorded music are required to pay Sh. 10,000 annually or Sh. 750 per event for a Collective Management Organization license.
The Board adds that these DJs should also comply to Term & Conditions of social media platforms in question.
