JSS: Day three of Junior Secondary School and no kid in Grade 7 has seen a teacher. What exactly is happening?

I urge the junior secondary school to use the available resources to undertake their daily activities,they are sufficient when utilised well despite the inadequate number of teachers though the ministry of education in conjunction with TSC are going to add more teachers

If they have not been paid it is not because of Magoha. I wish I could say more but I cant. Hint though - one contractor in Embu bid to build in three schools but he did not have capacity.

Junior Secondary School should be suspended for 3 years to pave way for preparation. Why are we gambling with our children's future. 3 days now still no teachers or resources
 
A circular to HT, has instructed them to allocate teachers to teach in jnr secondary as, posting are ongoing, seems even TSC personnel are torpedoing the CBC rollout by delaying posting.

The age old problem of posting teachers by number of pupils and classrooms halafu mabibi wa wakumbwa hawataki kutoka municipal boundaries. Hence unakuta Iten DEB is overstaffed while Chesawach huko Tot has six teachers with one madam on maternity leave.

True, if there is a selfish public servants cadre, it's teachers, Unions and activism made them believe that being transferred from your location of residence is punishment.

Salary and remenuration doesn't refer to them as civil servants....Riggy G alisema warudi nyumbani. No more delocalization

I vividly remember Magoha saying that the next government will have to find money to pay the contractors. I could not believe my ears when I heard him say that. How do you implement CBC without the money to do it in the first place. Somebody help me find that video.

If governments were to wait until they had a pile of money to start doing something then nothing would ever get done.
CBC is a transformative programme, running for nearly twenty years from the time they started curriculum planning to piloting to full implementation to when they'll carry out an end of programme review. The classrooms project was only one of many projects in the overall CBC programme. The government is finding the money for the programme as it goes. Sometimes expected revenues fall short.

But..from grade 1, to 6, everyone knew there will be transition to grade 7. 6 years is a very long time to plan.. Every available government resources should have been channeled there considering education is one key pillar of any country.
