Journalist Kimani Mbugua locked up in Mathare Hospital

Mental illness is the worst disease ever. Its only ever felt/affect the sick badly but they don’t even know it. Most of the unaffected (general public) always have a warped up idea of the disease. I won’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s not a tumour that can be seen/ removed, it lives permanently in us all until triggered. I feel for the guy and the family.

So he used to puff weed.

Probably his parents knew and told him to stop which he didn't.

Weed in Kenya is usually laced with other psychotropic substances like brown sugar. Chances ya kufyatuka is very high.

So this mild 'psychotic episode' he's talking about was prolly the culmination of a very frustrating and depressing struggle for his parents. He let them down big time, sasa wamemwachia serikali.

I like reminding people of the parable of the sower in the book of Jewish stories of giants.Matthew 13:1–23, Mark 4:1–20, Luke 8:4–15 .

Not every seed is supposed to thrive.

Apambane na shash yake...

Mimi huskia hii story mara mob sana but I highly doubt its veracity. E.g weed ya mtaani huwa pretty cheap, competing na dunhills, sasa profit ya kuongeza heroine inatoka wapi?

The additives are usually cheap, artificial compounds meant to make weed more potent. The weed so treated may or may not command higher prices depending on the target market. Sometimes the reputation is enough as it drives up sales volumes.
