I have seen it. They are saying they could irrigate up to 33K acres from harvested water. Lakini still comparison with Kirinyaga is wrong. Water for Kirinyaga doesnt come from seasonal runoff water.
Aren't you arguing from a point of ignorance mkubwa?, Google the average rainfall per annum in Turkana county and compare it with the one for Kirinyaga county.

How many rivers are there in Turkana? How easily can they be dammed (like Thiba dam)?

I also want to learn how they plan to collect all that surface runoff water. There was an enlightening post here about how they do reforestation in India and China but I think this is a different thing. Do you have any links?

Many rivers sadly they're seasonal. I don't have links, learnt all this in a training session with FAO, four years ago.
