ituîka na iregi na marika

Ramiran

Elder Lister
Naomba kuelezewa sababu nimeona hapa kuna watu wanajua.

1. ituîka
It was like generational take over where a whole new rika came into power.
Q1. How did the system work?
Q2. Who decided it was time for ituîka ?
Q3. What exactly was handed over, positions, institutions etc ?
Q4. Was there ever resistance to leave by sitting rika ?

2. Iregi
It was a generation
Q1. Shida yao ilikua nini ?
Q2. What was being refused since Iregi means like "waliokataa" ?
Q3. Was it like a rebellion or what did they do ?

Thanks in advance.

Iregi - they refused to be ruled by one person/family/dynasty and saw it fit to have a council of elders instead.

This means a completely different thing to what you're explaining.

Have you ever seen how bad milk cuddles when you try to boil it? That's "itueka".

You meant ituîka.

E and î have completely different sounds, and can change the meaning when used interchangeably.

Another example:

Ke ha? = Kako wapi
Kî ha? = Kiko wapi
