I'm starting to think these politicians destroyed NHIF because it was working too well, and there was less need to cry to 'mheshimiwa' for donations. That's why they dislike working systems, less people will be dependent on them. But when they need healthcare themselves, they take the first plane out of the country, funded by the taxpayer. I hope Nakuru folks are learning their lesson.

Because he was not a (career) politician to begin with.
Ruto, Raila, Kalonzo, Mlevi, Karua, Wamunyoro, et al have been in that murky, dirty world of politics for donkey years. I can bet more than two centuries if you add all their years.
No meaningful change can come from any of those musketeers.
