What about living expenses?
Living expenses must be high. But am sure the guy is still saving alot.

The bigger the economy, the more the salary. Although accounting for cost of living, health insurance, taxes, that figure might go down bit more.

There is a spike in driver earnings because of shortage of drivers,the money comes with a lot of difficulties. You are never home sleep in gas stations and eventually suffee from obesity related diseases. Most Americans are woke nowadays and choosing time with family and happiness over the extra coin in trucking. I have a cousing who works as a trucker for 6 months in the US and the other 6 months he spends in Tanzania literally chewing miraa only. After his stay in Tanzania is over they guy is usually coineless and we even loan him money for flight ticker. That has been his routine for the longest time.Funny guy that one.
Thats peanuts esp if you have family there. Even alone is still a long shot since the living cost is high. If you lease a House its 1000-1500$ expenses of 3000 if you have a family you spend easily 8000$
