Is it really ever this serious?

I just did a small detour via the County Assembly on my way here where I found Guys really really pissed off by today’s events at the State House.

Some MCAs over there are so dejected, demoralised and pitiful that I just felt like giving them a hug and a cuddle and assure them that in the fullness of time all will be swell.

But I couldn’t help but wonder and puzzle: is politics so serious as to make somebody lose their peace of mind, their decorum and their centre of gravity?

Herewith below, I have attached the cries and tribulations of one such MCA.

Pity, I say. Pity. I think many guys there and elsewhere require very long sessions of counseling to make them normal again!
 
but it might be a matter of life and death especially to the youth who are the "leaders of tomorrow".
they are watching as their future is being destroyed and there is very little they can do about it.

it might seem like a simple issue now, but in the next few months, might be a really big issue
 
Last year when the pandemic hit my father and I spent a lot of time around the fireplace discussing politics into the late morning. I used to get hot headed especially when some of his opinions were just straight bias but I rember it was around this time some politician said weka siasa kwa lungs and not in the heart.

That triggered something in me. Being passionate, empathetic and idealistic, it is important to learn to be selfish and callous about the fortunes of others. Those who succeed always are. Learn the art of not giving a f**k.

So if they succeed at bulldozing this BBI process through, if Uhuru ends up extending his term limit so be it. So long as you are making money, so long as nobody interferes with your property, to hell with everybody else. Difficult lessons are taught through pain.

Many have been caught offguard, there was deception right from the beginning which is now causing despair. The game uhuru system is playing now is make them poor and enslave them, a game raila has perfected. The only only problem is the progressive constitution that is standing in his way and he is really determined to rape it. The next move will be to capture IEBC to rig in bbi if at all there will be a referendum. This situation is a blessing in disguise, it is killing tribalism and exposing the weakeness that comes with self seeking attitude. The only weakeness is see is that uhuru system has lost public support even though he keeps lying he is doing it for people. You can bribe and intimidate a few but not everyone, and time is running out for him as well.. let us wait and see. But i highly doubt he will make it, you can't fool everyone all the time
 
Everything rises and falls with leadership. It ought to matter to everyone but not to be obsessed over.
Nigeria is wealthier than Ghana but with horrible leadership.
The quality of life between the two nations is staggering.
While Twitter's Africa HQ is set up in Accra, the zombies in Naija are suspending the free speech medium. Go figure 😊

The same youth are saying they can't vote for scandal free Martha Karua because she isn't popular. They also can't vote for Mukhisa juu ni mkono birika. They want Robin hood, the one who steals and gives them something

What we are witnessing from Uhuru fanboys is an astonishing lack of foresight, it would make sense if we had no history to rely on, unfortunately we do.

We had 47 years of practice which proved the President getting to pick judges is disastrous for the nation, why would anyone celebrate what is known not to work?

You see people cheering him on and wonder how fast do we forget?
 
Some people have such a visceral hate for UK that we should keep them on suicide watch if his coallition wins next year.

I won't goad them today but I will remind them that they mostly responsible for electing this government. They bought into SGR dream, roads dream and other promises. Kwanza Mimi I elected Sonko and I don't excuse myself, but I have forgiven myself and moved on. I even supported his ouster.

All.economies in the world have been negatively impacted by covid-19. None of the capital expenditure projects can pay off during a pandemic. But loans have to be paid and workers too. It's natural to blame the president for all this. But it pains me when people think a career thief is the best alternative. Simply because he shares a few scraps with some funny churches and rides a wheelbarrow smiling.
