Speculations Rife After Anticipated Inooro TV Interview Declared Fake.
On Wednesday evening, October 7, a highly anticipated interview pitting Murang'a Woman Rep Sabina Chege and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, was declared fake.
The two legislators had posted earlier that they would be interviewed by Inooro TV's Michael Njenga and his counterpart Wangechi wa Muriuki on the show.
However, just moments before the show, Inooro TV stated that the poster in circulation was fake.
"We would like to notify you that a poster that has been making rounds on social media is fake, and Inooro TV has not scheduled an interview with the two legislators," the station wrote on its social media pages.
Additionally, Inooro TV indicated that they would be interviewing Ndia MP George Kariuki and lawyer Edward Muriu, where the two would discuss matters regarding the Mt Kenya region.
Prior to Inooro's post, Nyoro had requested Ms Chege to carry her phone where he would probe a number of issues.
"I'm set for Ndurumeni Show on Inooro tonight with Hon Sabina Wanjiru, and I request that she carries her phone for referencing a few things. In a nutshell, the violence was a joint venture between Interior and contributions from individual politicians," Nyoro had stated.
From his post, Nyoro indicated that he would delve into the issue around Murang'a violence that claimed the lives of two in Murang'a County.
Following the clarification by Inooro TV, Kandara MP Alice Wahome has since reacted, claiming that there must have been an order not to air the show.
