End of free secondary education? Does the writer live in Kenya? or rather is he a parent to a secondary school student, I have twins in extra county schools, been paying @56k each year for the last 3 years. Hii ya 40K is a figment of the writers imagination/draft directive at ministry headquarters.

I think the bigger picture is what is being covered.

Government is broke.

The first thing to get cut in austerity measures is always social programs.

I bet President Kibaki is rolling in his grave.

Lakini thank God for all the unemployed Kenyans who benefited from this scheme. At least hawakulipa FULL term fees.

It is very broke but the top echelon are still eating caviar and champagne, purchasing multi-million property in Dubai, London and Malibu.
