He wanted to be president so badly and for one thing only. Primitive accumulation of wealth and his insatiable ego. Hubris.

He should know better.

He saw Moi dying a lonely, senile, old man that no one speaks endearingly about. He left ALL that wealth he accumulated right here on earth. He took none of it with him. You would think that would be a sobering lesson for him to aspire to be a better "leader". Wapi!

I read somewhere. Someone had opined. There are 54 countries in Africa. None of which is close to first World status, except maybe South Africa. Let that sink in.
