We are still far from successfully fighting corruption.. seizure of looted funds and property alone cannot fully eradicate corruption..It should be followed by lengthy jail terms.. People will continue to steal as long as they are guaranteed no jail term, I mean what's the worst that can happen if you steal and half of the loot is seized, you still get to the rest of it or you can hide it in offshore account.. so it should be, seize and criminal prosecute.

If we do it often enough soon the thieves will begin to see the futility of theft and more whistleblowers will be motivated to disclose. I agree long jail terms should follow seizures.

If we had just 20 of such judges things would be very different in Kenya. But kazi ni ku-entertain injunctions and political cases against the gavament. Look at the BBI cases, heard, decided and appealed in less than four months.
Meanwhile, the family of Ivy is still waiting for justice five years on despite their dauta being murdered in public by a shoka-wielding man.......................

On June 17, the Government of Kenya announced further restrictions in response to the worsening of the COVID-19 pandemic. Restrictions are focused on 13 counties declared “hotspot zone” – specifically Busia, Vihiga, Kisii, Nyamira, Kakamega, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma, Kericho, Bomet, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori.
Kitale is in Trans Nzoia County.
yes mwalimu, the 13 counties that were targeted naona kuna kitale na kakamega thats why I was asking, sio kwa ubaya mwalimu I want to travel huko soon just wanted a heads up.
my point of information is if one can get inand out, was it a total lockdown ama mchana people can move in and out, kuuliza tu, sio kwa ubaya mkubwa.
