Impassable roads - Murera .

Murera area is mostly a cotton soil area .When it rains the roads are very bad and it's made worse by the lorries ferrying quarry stones and hard core .On Wednesday part of the road near Murera Star was washed off .
At around 6pm I took a walk and the roads are now totalled kabisa .Nimeona 4 trucks stuck within a distance ya 50 metres . Accessibility is now a big problem but angalau one can walk up to to where the matatus are dropping passengers .

Kuna gari iliingia hapo on Wednesday morning owned by someone working kwa police service .So after towing the vehicle waliweka tape ndio at least mtu akikuja usiku asiingie hapo .When driving down mtu haoni the gaping hole .Some years back the area pahali nimepigia photo used to be a quarry .That was in late 90s.The area was just grass land hakuna mtu alikuwa amejenga .Vile watu walianza kujenga ndio waligundua the quarry guys had blasted the road .Thus the place was filled with cotton soil whenever developers were excavating their plots.Later some quarry chips zikamwagwa juu .But now the ongoing rains have washed off foreign refill .

The specific area is almost 5 .5 Km from Kimbo ,Thika but we prefer using Eastern bypass the road is better .
The road that is tarmacked is less than 3 kilometres from Kimbo via Matangi all the way to Junction the remaining 2.5 Km is impassable kwa gari ndogo.

Kuna wakati nilikuwa nataka kununua plots mbili hapo Junction where the tarmac itafika...maybe hata ishafika juu it has been a while since niende hizo area. Heri hivyo sikununua. About two years ago.

Such developments are hope that the area is changing for the better . My friend kuna watu wamejenga huko chini kabisa past Ndururumo almost 10km from Thika Road ,ng'ambo Ile ingine wanaona the sewage treatment plant .
