If I vie against Ruto, I will defeat him with a very big margin - Gathoni wa Muchomba

Kiambu county woman representative Gathoni wa Muchomba has yet for another time attacked the deputy president. The female legislator is known for her reckless political utterances. For instance, during the BBI sensitization rally in Kakamega, Gathoni proposed a tax rebate to men who are willing to marry more than two wives. This attracted a lot of criticism from most women.

Gathoni, who was a former Radio show host at Kameme Fm, minces no words when making reference to the Deputy president. According to Gathoni, the Deputy president is responsible for the continued disrespect to the president by most of the Mt Kenya leaders.

”The problem with him is that he thinks he can buy everyone. He gives them (Mt Kenya Mps) a few thousands to insult the president”, Gathoni told our correspondent in Kiambu.

Gathoni further insisted that the president is the most influential and respected leader in the Region. It was, therefore, wrong for the deputy president to think that he can win the Central region without the support of the president.

In what appeared to be a deliberate dismissal of the alleged Deputy President’s influence, Gathoni claimed that she was more popular than Ruto.

“You see, Ruto has this bad tendency of overestimating himself. He is not as popular as he think. In fact I am more popular than him. I used to command more than 30 Million Kenyans when I was at Kameme, I was the third in the total number of votes after Uhuru and Raila. If I vied against Ruto, am telling you, I would defeat him with a big margin”, Gathoni emphasized

@Meria, can you pause and meria mata. You are insisting that those of us in Kieleweke are wrong, we are insisting that you are wrong.

However, there is the truth somewhere. There is what we can tell our kids, some of who are in this forum. I do not believe that the shenanigans being paraded now is for our benefits. The greedy politicians are busy building bridges, creating more ivory towers, alienating you and me from their offices.

Let's not get in the forest, it's all trees
