Media personality Shaffie Weru has revealed he worked for Nairobi Governor Jihnson Sakaja for several months without pay.
Spekaing during an interview with the trend, Shaffie told Amina that he build a relationship with Sakaja before he was appointed to head the county events team for a period of five years.
"If I tell you I have been working for Sakaja for several months without pay, you won't believe it. I planned for his inauguration, campaigns all without pay, I used to show up at City Hall, work then go home," he said.
Sakaja last week confirmed the appointment of Shaffie, saying he collected his letter of appointment and will be in charge of overseeing all outdoor and indoor events in the county.
"He will exclusively execute all indoor and outdoor events headlined by Nairobi County Government."
