I thought large gatherings were banned

A week ago super spreader events were in Kisumu.

Yesterday it was Kiambaa.

Cases will rise and we will be locked again. But Kenyans ni nani, Twitter warriors flooding World Bank and IMF social media pages but they cannot make noise about political gatherings happening without masks.

But how can people make noise when it is they themselves who attend such gatherings? Even those who don't go to rallies are still attending house parties, birthdays, weddings, going to crowded bars etc

I don't think anyone should bother protesting because no one forces anyone to attend those gatherings. If you start a petition to storm a politician's page, I suggest you also find all the attendees and storm their social media accounts as well. Let everyone be accountable for themselves.

Not long ago, police used ti teargas tangatanga rallies- not because ofcovid but to deny them a chance to campaign for their candidates. The big head Matiang'i has noted that teargasing them is indirectly campaigning for them. You wont see teargas in Kiambaa

Sometimes it's double standards for Jubilee government... now that they have a candidate in Kiambaa they close the eyes and pretends nothing is going on..... Over the last few days, UDA grassroot registrations have been interfered with. Kiunjuri pia alikula teargas.
@Nefertities have very valid points that we are also irresponsible as citizens. Hapo kwa bar na mugithi I am a victim.

Not a victim but a culpable culprit...

Our people are the biggest enablers of impunity. They complain about corruption yet they are corrupt. How many saccos and cooperative societies have collapsed because of looting? Shameless looting. Where do those elected leaders come from? Si ni akina Kama, Odhis and Naliaka?

Hii ugonjwa ikikupata utasumbuana mayo personally. KOT hawatakuja kukuona hosi if you get hospitalized- actually no one will come to see you ukienda isolation ward.

The guy who conducted a super-spreader event will soon grace our screens. '' Fellow Kenyans...''

All politicians are behaving badly... And citizens too. Not a care in world!
If everyone is behaving badly does it not mean it’s acceptable behavior……..By which standard is Covid a pandemic…the Indian death rate? the Kenyan one? The March/April 2020 Italian death rate?

Which is more of a superspreader...the Githurai market? A political rally? Dancing in a club drunk before its closed at 7pm?

kila mtu ajichunge kivyake kulingana na personal risk appetite and perceive threat of Covid, tuwache kudanganyana na superficial ‘measures’.

@Okiya has a problem. The other day he was posting photos of himself and his pals drinking....now I know you have to remove your mask to eat and drink and when sharing drinks and food you have to be close to one another...so I really don't get his point unless off course the drinks and food sublimed into their bodies.
Other part is why post the kiambaa meeting? Couldn't he find the kisumu one on Twitter to post or it wouldn't have served his desires?

You're the one with a problem and unfortunately it's not small. I've noticed you like splitting hairs in all my posts. Calm down. You'll get stressed looking for something you'll never find
