I Support the Government

Usually, I am very skeptical about our 'leaderless' leaders and more so the son of Jomo. There's no need to get into details as to how he has overseen an incompetent regime but with the pandemic facing the World, I am in full support of the authorities.

Probably, it is because there's a very competent person leading the health ministry but the reason I am in @Mwalimu-G mode is because other nations have proved that without proper organization and response to COVID-19, the situation can quickly escalate. This is in stark contrast to the nations that have had an orderly and well-coordinated response to the issue such as China (albeit too late), Vietnam, Japan...literally the Asian nations, especially in the far East.

Juzi when we confirmed the 1st patient, Kenyan netizens went haywire led by the likes of Alai and Nyakundi to fabricate all manner of senseless isht to make the kafament seem incompetent and in the quest to get their daily fix of retweets and followers. That was the planting of a vicious seed that is germinating and the end result is more fake news, fear and a deep mistrust for the powers that be.

Wadau, let us be responsible and fully cooperate with sirkal. Ni hayo tu kwa sasa.

Optimism and enthusiasm without proof of why the GoK deserves it is as good as nothing.

Have you seen a testing center, mobile unit or anything of the sort? Have you seen sanitizers at every street corner, or thousands of sterile hospital beds ready to receive patients? Do you have your HUDUMA number yet?

Until about 3 days ago, Donny Drumpf had half of the country (=100% of FOX viewers) believing that he'd tackled COVID-19 in the most efficient manner in the whole world.

The directive to isolate/quarantine or whichever term suits best is not an easy one but is a positive move. Testing facilities are available for free if I may add, and they don't cost $3K like in Trumpistan. I don't like this government and issues such as Huduma number have absolutely no relation to what we face now.

My point is spreading fake and malicious news is wrong and that cooperation beats rebelling against gava.

Where does this come in?
He's in support of positive measures like self quarantine. Stop being negative always.
And no, I don't have the hujuma number because our government is shit. But even a dead clock is accurate twice a day.

I applied for leave 2 months ago to go visit family back in Kenya and got it approved for mid next month. However, it doesn’t look like I will be travelling soon. My boss is livid that a country like Kenya has partial lockdown after three cases and yet in the state am in, with 30 odd confirmed and two dead, you only notice something is wrong when you go to the supermarket.
the government is handling the situation really well and fingers crossed we might be on top of the situation

The problem with most here is that they see negativity everywhere. I'm happy that my kids are not in school and wont get infected from school. However, you should see some bile from some conspiracy theorists around, I wont repeat them here. I despise them!

The fact that ou can type on a keyboard doesn't make you an epidemiologist. I hate it when people who are ignorant about basic hygiene, people who have never been through an epidemic forward me fake stories.

Covid-19 is real, its necessary to reduce social contacts. I went to some government office yesterday and found it closed. We need to be proactive and help out by desisting from actions that will mess up this country.
