Nothing more humiliating, degreading, dehumanising, to Africans remains to be said about the BONOBO, referencing Africans here (ktalk/klist)

So here is my honest to God humble (on my knees) appeal to fellow Kenyans.

STOP useing the word BONOBO in reference to nyeuthis.

Its not a small matter and its not funny,

E.g All nyeuthis on this forum know exactly what is meant when the word Bonobo is used here (Africans = low IQ) All here have internalized it.

Now for any mwafrika this word as used here, Carrie's a truck load of negativity.

Its NOT a good thing to repeatedly encounter truck loads of negativity online daily hadi its internalized and seems normal.

Its a negativity cost we need not inflict on ourselves repeatedly day in day out.

It is accepted that there are numerous, varied and complex reasons + just plain studity, some nyeuthi may want to use this word.

Those reasons are NOT positivity.

So kindly feel free to refrence Africans in any non derogatory terms of your choice

Asante sana

True we must think positively even when our own people do unacceptable or become social misfits.
@Field Marshal njoo nyuma ya hema .

I agree with you @Ramiran but I must also point out that a lot of times our people expose below normal reasoning abilities. It is like they have surrendered thinking to people they consider "leaders" so that you find even university educated chaps making very illogical decisions.
One example is where they develop hate against a certain people simply because so and so has told them that that there is the enemy. They forget to interrogate why they are being incorporated to hate...eventually our whole country goes into trouble.

Allow me to rub this one in. Rediscover nature, a passion or even romance out in the real world. Otherwise, only a real bonobo would take to heart what happens here.

I had expected to be called a bonobo on the first reply.

I have thick skin, been around since kenyanet mailing list in 94 even before RCB.

My stand is that the use of the word bonobo here is needless and avoidable negativity and that only fools don't know that constant exposure to negativity does have a negative effect on one weather a given fool recognises it or not
