During transplanting, I always dip the roots of my seedlings into a solution of carbendazium based fungicide with water.

Why Carbendazim ?

it combats:

1). Root rots (Fusarium, Pythium)
2). Damping-off in seedlings
3). Crown rot diseases

Carbendazium is an active ingredient of fungicides like pearl, goldazium etc.

Carbendazium can also be drenched before or after transplanting.
