for example above, 167354km is the current mileage on this car(right pic). The car is being sold in Mombasa at a showroom around mbaraki area. The distance from Mbaraki to the port is 2.2km. Mileage at inspection was 167322km(left pic). The vehicle has covered 32 kilometres after inspection. 32km minus 2.2 kilometres is 29.8km. Roughly the distance between Nairobi & Juja for example.That could be the distance from the point of inspection to the seaport for export to Kenya.

Those young guys who do this work come well equipped, some car models I believe even require them to use a laptop and some software. The car I saw being rewinded was a Toyo and it was fully manual. They then used spirit to alter the numbers written on the inspection stickers
