HOW TALENTED WAS LUCKY DUBE

Lucky Dube didn't engage in singing about Babylon and Zion. He sang about everyday problems and that is how he was able to catch fans.
His music was very appropriate for the time it was sang. 80's- apartheid, hunger, neocolonialism and income gaps and 90's- corrupt governments, societal dysfunction, war etc. Many African fans found him more relevant than Jamaican musicians because his English was also clear with easy to understand lyrics si kama ile patois.
