We know having a commuter solution in this Nairobi, will never happen until some stomachs have guaranteed they'll be fed.

We did not, the time the sgr was being commissioned if I recall correctly.
On more thing, we do not have a meaningful network. The existing commuter train serves a tiny fraction of Nairobi.

We use commuter trains in nairobi all the time. There are commuter trains to Ruiru, Embakasi, Limuru, Syokimau, Lukenya, Kitengela. Uhuru has worked wonders.
