How the mighty have fallen!
They are now operating under the maxim “once beaten twice shy” from the high of the housing levy must be paid “mpende msipende”.
The Kifua mbele pride is now gone and replaced with the meekness of the lamb.

Kenya Kwisha will not be able to sponsor any tax bill going forwards. They know the public will be up in arms.
In fact what they should do is explore ways of reducing the wage bill starting with their own salaries and allowances.

I think they over-achieved. Bringing the political class to showing their true colours. Even those who were sympathetic to ODM as part of the opposition before the protests are now against them, they were very opportunistic in advancing their political careers at the expense of blood of the youth lost in the streets and by abductors. Even Oguda who was a favourite is now being mocked on social media.

It's a long way to 2027, lots of twists and turns, but the youth have been awakened. I'd like to see genZ initiating recalls of the MPs
