We are being told to move away from tribal politics, but sadly as given for now, the basic unit of votes mobilisation is the ethnic group, unless GenZ and the millennials save us from this primitivism, taking us to interests based voting mobilisation, as is elsewhere in the world.
I don't think we can have interest based voting in Kenya yet because all manifestos are nearly the same. Compare to US where immigration, tax, abortion, LGBTQ are big voting issues.

It is at this point all hell will break loose for the coalition in return Gachagua will probably demand the PM position ,half the cabinet, ambassadorial positions, PSs roads the whole nine yards. He will then again demand the AGREEMENT to be signed livelive so that 'his' people can know what they are getting for giving kalonzo 10 million votes yote tisa kumi the blackmail will never stop it has already started

2027 will not be about Kalonzo. it will be about Mrima. Gachagua Kioni ,Waititu and the rest want to walk away with the bragging rights. Kenya will never stop hearing of mrima if gachagua and Co succeed they will move around the country intimidating other communities the "tyranny of numbers" "lazima upande murima" "we are always on the winning side" and other nonsensical narratives will never stop
