This section of land near Nairobi River and off Chalbi Drive was reclaimed and protected by the late John Michuki (R.I.P.)
The piece of land had even trees planted on it.
A military officer named Colonel Dr George Adari (Orthopedic Surgeon), who is a friend and colleague of the CEO of Nairobi River Commission (Brigadier Joseph Muracia), both of whom served in the engineering brigade, decided to invade this riparian land and build one of the worst kinds of properties on it.
I have alerted NEMA, the Ministry of Environment, and KFS without much success. The county and national governments cannot use two sets of laws in governance. The law should apply to everyone in the same way.
