On Friday, James Nyoro was sworn in as new Kiambu Governor after Ferdinand Waititu was impeached by the Senate.
Ferdinand Waititu becomes the second governor to be impeached after Embu governor whose impeachment was reverted by Court in April 2014.
We didn't witness Embu County drama because maybe, Governor Wambora chose a deputy who was his friend, and vowed to be together for better for worse.
Honestly, in my opinion, James Nyoro and Waititu were never friends in the first place, we didn't deserve all the drama after Waititu was barned from accessing his office by the court following his graft cases.

To defend the above, in 2013, James Nyoro was in the ballot paper alongside Kabogo and others, he campaigned and really wanted to be the first Kiambu governor but things didn't go as planned. I won't be surprised if one day Baba Yao calls a presser and ashames Nyoro for begging him for a deputy governor position and many other short stories. Should we bet on this?
I think Nyoro should have stood by Waititu, and comforted him in his difficult moments, that's what marriage is all about, Nyoro, in my opinion, demonstrated what some of us go through in relationships, whatever kind of relationships.
Remember one is innocent until proven guilty and charges that Waititu is facing at the Court are yet to determine his fate,
Nyoro's rushed swearing-in ceremony was unnecessary, What if Court decides to revert the Senate's decision? Will Kiambu county have two governors? Only time will tell.
