Kitu nimekuja kugundua ni eti we are in the habit of dwelling on quips, unintentional gaffes and fabricated quotes which make for juicy headlines while missing on the important bits of news reports.

To be objective, I suggest we go back and read the entire article, watch the speech and then deduce for ourselves the bigger picture. If without time, just dwell on the quoted parts of say, a news article.

This doesn't have to just be in politics and in no way am I justifying Sakaja's shortcomings.

The World nowadays is always in for a quick fix, a catchy headline... The 'microwave generation' is what they call us so I suggest, they we be wise in what we hear, read and watch. And on top of that, verify and counter verify before forming a babeless opinion.

A very good example that's happening right before us at the moment is the sensational journalism with which Western media and their proxies are subjecting the Qatar World Cup. Totally biased and unfair.

End of mini rant.
