What a sad way to go. Reminds me of that family that went to pick their car.. Man, wife and kid(s) and as they approached back home, had a fatal accident near the Machakos junction.

A typical itinerary is follows:
Land in mombasa asubuhi. Say by 9.
Finish all paperwork. Get your car. Go catch one or two with friends. Sleep.
Day 2 take the car for service. Thorough. Tour mombasa. Have lunch. Go swim. Drink two and sleep.
Day 3 finish your tour of mombasa in your new car. Have lunch then hit the road by 3. Spend at Mtito.
Day 4 proceed to nyairobi at your pace
