The rains were abnormally high. The drains could not have coped even if they worked perfectly.

Beyond the current floods, aren't most of us reliant on private solutions to public problems? We have the police but we also procure the services of security companies, in municipalities that should have services such as gargabe collection, street lighting etc.. don't citizens mostly rely on their own pockets? I mean, @zapp_brannigan just stated here that they had to build a bridge. Absolutely ridiculous to even think about.. It's insane how hapless people most Kenyans feel knowing the state and even devolved units aren't concerned with real issues affecting real people.

Don't even get me started on core needs such as education and health. Laughable, but Kenya doesn't even have public road transport.

Yes, we do need to widen the tax bracket but kwa ground, vitu ni tofauti sana.

You and me always hear dissorstor management committee . What do they do on daily basis? Ama wana jua Eric Omodi atakimbia and save the predicaments ? Stupid leaders !
 
Your govt, aware that it's lethargy has been exposed, is pretending everything is normal and orders schools to reopen next week as scheduled.
