Fact is, the judiciary needs to be fixed.
Nobody elected judges. Katiba says that the sovereign will pf the people is exercised mostly through their ELECTED representatives, that is, the Executive and the Legislature, which today has about 450 men and women (I think).
It beats logic that a SINGLE member of the Judiciary should routinely be able to stop policy decisions developed by the Executive and passed by the Legislature. This is called 'judicial over-reach'.
Top Indian jurists have warned that judicial over-reach' can easily paralyse a developing country.
