I have been fortunate enough to have interacted with people who have dealt with Mp's and CDF. Those people use that money like a slash fund. They will inflate the prices of projects and even supply goods from their own businesses at those inflated prices.

Mps should be left to focus only on their legislative role and not buying voters with CDF money/projects.

Adding more money to governors will just be a waste without having proper structures to ensure fair distribution of resources . If in doubt look at Kiambu county . One half of Kiambu county is having projects (hospitals ,markets ,bus parks ,tarmac roads every dawn but the other half is suffering .Look at Thika ,Juja ,Gatundu and Ruiru nothing is happening.
And dont dare mention lobbying , you can't tell us what you will do during elections then later tell us to beg you to do it .

Then what was the point of devolution if not to devolve county government functions and money? Corruption in the counties is a question of leaders. So choose better leaders.

It is all about policies first. Tell me why Kimani Ichungwa is tarmacking the Kijiji roads while some main roads in Juja and Ruiru are in a very bad state. Are you implying he is a better leader than others?

Exactly. He is. Him and Nyoro have done better with CDF and pushing for roads in their constituencies. What is the juja mp doing?

The work of a leader is like that of a banker. Using the deposits/taxes to invest in revenue generating activities that generate more revenue. Few do it well.
