To me, these two vehicles look alike, only that the Exiga is a 7-seater. Yet, the price difference is huge.
What is it that makes the Exiga so cheap?

After some googling the specific Exiga you have shared here is actually not what we have on our roads .This one is a 2.5 litre and available to the Australian market only as Subaru Liberty Exiga .What we have locally is a low fat legacy - cousin with a 2 litre engine ( front wheel drive ) or 2 litre + turbo (all wheel drive).
The forester on the other hand is only available in all wheel drive and rides higher .
