Today, reality has hit hard that my beloved favorite drink, blue ice is no more. After KRA closed Patiala Distillers for tax evasion.
EABL is known for below the belt tactics to kill competition.
Blue ice clearly outshone EABL peasant brands like triple ace vodka and chrome vodka in sales.
EABL has enough financial muscle and political influence to kill any threat to make sales.
History is evident after castle lager, blue moon vodka and legend brandy disappeared from the market. It was Obvious that EABL used the government to forcefully close the competition.
Still mourning that Irish breakfast won't be the same again.
Rest in peace Blue Ice. We loved you but KRA loved you more

Wacha propaganda. Even London distillers have been misbehaving tax wise

When I used to sell keroro,some suppliers,LDK,ASL,Patiala and the rest used to supply us with untaxed products,the products had fake KRA tax stickers. Anytime KRA and cops conducted inspections,we would get info from their sales people to remove particular batches from the shelves. At other times,we would buy the legal KRA tax stickers from licensed alcohol importers and put them on the various products on sale.
And every one would make a killing.
That is why,EABL and UDV (the only manufacturers who sell legal,taxed alcohol) lobbies and pushes KRA to follow up on producers who sell untaxed alcohol.
