Drama in Murang'a town Njakasa Building as 3 adults were caught unhanging clothes from the buildings clothe-lines.
According to residents, the 3,one female and 2 males were seen suspiciously taking the clothes from the lines and putting them in a sack at a corner of one of the buildings floor.
A resident who noticed a stranger unhanging his clothes and shoes raised the alarm and neighbors together with the mechanics at the adjacent garage respondened.
They ceremoniously matched the Thieves out of the building where they stripped the suspects;beating them mercilessly.
The 3 were however rescued from the mob who wanted to burn them alive by police who had gone to Kirara estate where they had been called to settle a dispute of a man who was beating the wife.
The three suspects will spend the weekend at the station awaiting trial on Monday.
