Sonko is a suspect and is not allowed into the scene of the crime until legally cleared. He can interfere with evidence and investigations.

Anybody crying for Sonko should ask themselves why the guy was 'ruling' Nairobi from his lavish mansion in Machakos, why he operated without a deputy, why he had the embarrassing habit of flashing his personal wealth and glittering accoutrements like a gangster, and why he inexplicably raised parking fees to 400 Bob after lowering them to 200. Where did this money end up?
